When the mother teases a baby she will hide her face then when she opens her face for the baby to see she will say ba! and the baby will laugh loud out.

bak

any blade of bolo, the sharp area is called the bak. Bakdol is a door opening. Baktikeb is the term for doorway. Bakbengaw is window opening. Bak ilong is a nose opening.

This betel nut is so important to the tribe, it is a sign of hospitality. This fruit has a deep story in the tribe, not only because of myth but in actual tbolis can't live with out it. This fruit is chewed with the leaf called iko and lime made of burned shell and along with it we chew tobacco.

shareIn the culture when a couple separates all the girls go to the father as his share and all the boys shall go to the wife as her share. This is not just a share but division of responsibilities. When comes to harvests. We give 3% share to the one harvesting. When datu dies the first wife divide wealth among the co-wives.

jackfruitThis is a fruit that its bark and roots are medicinal. When one suffers stomack ache, we boil roots along with other herbs for treatment. This fruit when young we cook it with other vegetables to serve as viand.
